![]() When next running or if the folder sync was later re-ticked, MEGAsync would then synchronize the most recent changes to the folders on each side. If a sync folder was unticked, (MEGAsync Syncs window), that would end the sync and stop any changes from being replicated. If MEGAsync isn't running, a file deleted from desktop or cloud wouldn't be replicated until it was running again. If you right-click MEGAsync and click Settings then Syncs you will see which folders are set up as automated folder syncs. The Upload to MEGA context menu will only appear when a file or folder is 'not' already part of a folder sync. Manually uploaded files can be stored anywhere in your cloud apart from in auto-synced folders. To manually upload a file or folder right click it and choose Upload to MEGA. ![]() That file will then no longer be controlled by its previous folder sync and will not be deleted if you later deleted the same file from your computer. In your MEGA browser, you can also move a cloud-stored file out of a synced folder. So if you manually upload the file then deleted it from your computer it would remain in your MEGA cloud. The NO - If the file was manually uploaded to your MEGA cloud (using either MEGAsync or browser), that file is stored independently of the files on your computer. The YES - If the file is inside a folder you are automatically syncing with your MEGA cloud then any file removed from that synced folder (from computer or cloud) will force MEGAsync to delete the same file from the same folder on the other side.
